Be Amused...

Deputation is basically driving hundreds of miles through five different states in the same day, scraping together enough money off the van floor for the tole booths, and ignoring the embarrassment when we hand over a hand full of coins that's supposed to equal $6.00. Taking detours because of rode construction and barely making it to Churches on time. Forgetting essentials like, toothbrushes, make up, and clothes when you go on a week long trip, having to buy razors out of vending machines, eating nasty granola bars, brushing your teeth with a plastic toothbrush that bends whenever you try to use it. Frequent Starbucks stops so you can get home before 1:00 in the morning, having to hold off on bathroom breaks until an hour after you really had to go and four younger siblings that jump out of their seats, chatter constantly, and continually ask you for gum.
All in all it's not as bad as it sounds.

You meet new, cool people, make friends, stay at nice hotels, eat a lot of carry in dinners, laugh at your mistakes, pray all the time, grow closer as a family, spend tons of time in church and encourage other Christians as well as be encouraged yourself. I wouldn't trade my life for anything.
